Getting residents around the Town of Innisfil as safely and quickly as possible is one of our number one priorities. We know that our transportation network needs to be continuously maintained to make this happen, which is why we undertake projects that connect and improve our roads, sidewalks, trails.
Road paving projects
As part of the Town of Innisfil's paving program, we complete paving projects each year. We choose the selected sections of road based on the results of our Roads Needs Study, which is completed every 5 years. This study evaluates the roadway condition and rates each road section. By programming the repair of roads, we can keep maintenance costs down as opposed to leaving the roads to deteriorate and require costly reconstruction instead of resurfacing.
The construction tender will be awarded soon for the following roads. Please note that exact timing is subject to change based on weather, contractor availability, and budget.
