Join Simcoe County Suicide Awareness Council to recognize World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10 at 1 p.m. at Innisfil Beach Park. The event will include a memorial bench donation near Beach 3, rain or shine. 

World Suicide Prevention Day takes place annually to raise global awareness that suicide is preventable. Established in 2003 by the International Association for Suicide Prevention and co-sponsored by the World Health Organization, it promotes open discussions and evidence-based interventions.
