Whereas Italian Canadians have made important contributions to communities across Canada, and Innisfil is home to a growing number of residents with Italian heritage who contribute to the town's culture, economy, and community life; and 

Whereas Italian Heritage Month provides an opportunity to celebrate the traditions, values, history, and achievements of Italian Canadians, while recognizing the role they continue to play in shaping our community; and 

Whereas the Town of Innisfil encourages all residents to learn about, appreciate, and celebrate the rich heritage and lasting contributions of Italian Canadians.

Now Therefore, I, Mayor Lynn Dollin, on behalf of the Corporation, hereby proclaim June 2026 as Italian Heritage Month in the Town of Innisfil.
