About PROBUS
PROBUS is a social organization for retired and semi-retired adults who want to stay active, engaged, and connected within their community. The name comes from PROfessional and BUSiness, but today PROBUS welcomes people from all backgrounds and careers.
PROBUS clubs focus on three key things:
- Friendship – Meet new people and build lasting friendships
- Fellowship – Enjoy social activities and shared interests with others
- Fun – Participate in outings, day trips, guest speakers, games, lunches, travel opportunities, and special events
A PROBUS club is not a fundraising, political, or service organization. Its purpose is simply to help retirees enjoy an active lifestyle and reduce social isolation by creating opportunities to connect with others.
