Select one of the following payment options to pay a parking ticket.

Dispute a parking ticket

The Town of Innisfil uses an Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) to administer and adjudicate parking tickets. This system allows municipalities to provide an open, transparent, and objective appeal process for parking infractions.

If you choose to dispute your penalty notice, you must request a screening review within 30 days of the effective date of the notice.

For more information, view the Administrative Monetary Penalty System By-law and related documents:

Screening review

If you choose to dispute your penalty notice, you must request a screening review within 30 days of the effective date of the notice.

Please include copies of any documents that may assist as evidence. This includes:

  • Photographs
  • Accessible parking permit
  • If you are in financial hardship and require time to pay, please bring financial documents to support this claim. Please see section 1.2 of the AMPS Undue Hardship Policy for more information

If you have not requested a screening review within 30 days of your ticket and have not paid the ticket, a vehicle ownership search fee may be added to the penalty. You may request an extension of time if 30 days have passed and extenuating circumstances exist, but it cannot exceed the 60-day period.

After 60 days, if you fail to pay your notice or book a screening review, a late fee will be added, and the matter may be sent to the Ministry of Transportation for plate denial.
