The Town of Innisfil undertook improvements to Huron Court Park as part of our annual Playground Replacement and Parkland Redevelopment Program.

Park upgrades were completed in 2024, including:

• A large playground with two ziplines and playground equipment that meet the needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children
• A new shade structure
• New park fixtures and furniture, including a bike rack, seating, picnic table, and garbage cans
• Line painting for the basketball court
• Replacement of the existing asphalt walkway from Benson Street to the Huron Court parking lot
• An additional asphalt walkway around the proposed playground area, which will provide a more direct route to the existing walkways within the park
• An additional asphalt walkway from the existing pedestrian walkway on Benson Street south to Alcona Glen Elementary School.

Community engagement

Community members were able to ask questions and provide improvement suggestions through Get Involved Innisfil during the planning stage.
