The Innisfil Public Library Board performs many duties, including:

• Establishing policies and appointing a chief executive officer who administers the Library under the guidelines of Board policies
• Determining the strategic goals of the Library and securing adequate funding to fulfill these goals
• Understanding the community's needs and ensuring that the Library is in alignment

Current recruitment

We're looking for community members to join the Innisfil Public Library Board for the 2026-2030 Term of Council. The Library Board welcomes individuals who are passionate about supporting the library and contributing to its continued success in the community. Those with legal, financial, fundraising, or advocacy experience are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for a position on the Library Board, please submit a completed application form, a letter of interest, and a resume by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Innisfil residents, tenants, and property owners who are 18 years of age or older can apply.
