INNISFIL, ON — The Town of Innisfil is inviting residents to apply for appointments to its statutory committees and boards for the 2026 to 2030 Term of Council.
Serving on a committee or board is a meaningful way to get involved in the community and contribute to local decision-making. Committees and boards play an important role in municipal governance by bringing community perspectives to the table and providing advice, oversight, and expertise in key areas of responsibility.
Current opportunities include:
- Innisfil Accessibility Advisory Committee
- Committee of Adjustment
- Innisfil Public Library Board
Positions are voluntary. Most committees and boards meet monthly, with limited or no meetings during the summer months. Individual schedules can vary depending on the committee or board.
Innisfil residents, tenants, and property owners who are at least 18 years of age are eligible to apply.
Applications can be submitted online through the Town's website. Candidates may also complete a downloadable PDF application form and submit it by email to clerksoffice@innisfil.ca or in person at Town Hall, located at 2101 Innisfil Beach Road.
Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026. Additional committee and board opportunities may become available following the start of the new Term of Council and will be posted as they are approved by Council.
