Construction of Phase 1 park improvements will continue into fall 2026. Temporary closure zones continue. Please follow the posted signs.

Planned reopening timeline:

• Trail from Fire Station 1 into the park: Open
• Beaches 3-5 (Central Beach and North Beach): Open
• Washroom pavilion: Open
• Playground: Open
• Beach volleyball courts: Open
• Tennis and pickleball courts: October 2026
  • Temporary court markings are currently in place. Acrylic surface coating will be placed in June 2027 due to temperature requirements during installation. 
• Beach 2 (South Beach): October 2026
• New park exit: October 2026
• Substantial completion of Phase 1: Mid-November 2026

Construction timelines are subject to change due to factors such as weather, site conditions, contractor scheduling, and material availability.
