Cookstown Community Park is located at 20 Church St. 

Phased improvements

These latest park improvements, completed in 2026, reflect Phase 3 of our ongoing commitment to enhancing Cookstown Community Park.

• One tennis court and two pickleball courts (lights operate 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. seasonally)
• Shade structure and picnic tables near the courts
• Shade structure over the existing stage
• Benches and waste bins
• Additional trees and lights

In collaboration with the Cookstown Agricultural Society and Cookstown Curling Club, we also added additional parking spaces behind the curling club to accommodate visitors.

Phases 1 and 2 are complete.

• Phase 1: Installation of splash pad, basketball court, and playground (completed in 2014)
• Phase 2: Installation of ice rink, stage, fitness equipment and developed trails (completed in 2019)
