The Town of Innisfil is completing road rehabilitation on 6th Line, from 5th Sideroad to 20th Sideroad, this summer. Work includes pulverization of the existing road, base stabilization, reshaping with granular materials, and topping with a new surface.
Construction schedule
The contractor is scheduled to mobilize on June 22, 2026. The overall project is expected to be completed within 6 weeks, weather depending. Residents may experience temporary disruptions, including noise, dust, and construction-related activity, while crews are on site.
Road closures
Road closures will be implemented by road section as work moves along 6th Line, starting with:
- 5th Sideroad and 10th Sideroad: June 22 at 7 a.m. to June 26, 2026 at 8 p.m.
Access will be maintained for local traffic only, school buses, waste collection, and emergency services. Detours will be set up using 4th Line, 5th Line, and 7th Line as needed for other motorists.
