Innisfil, ON - Innisfil Fire & Rescue Services is participating in the annual 12 Days of Holiday Fire Safety campaign to remind residents to take proper fire safety precautions and stay fire safe this holiday season.

From December 12 to 23, fire departments across Ontario will promote a different fire safety theme each day, with tips on what you can do to keep the holidays fire safe. Holiday fire safety tips can be found by following @ONFireMarshal and @Innisfil_FIRE on Facebook, Instagram, and X.

"This time of year is bittersweet for the fire service as we continue to see an increased number of fatal fires during the months around the holidays," says Ontario Fire Marshal Jon Pegg. "Prevention is the best way to stay fire safe and by making fire safety a priority, you can avoid unnecessary disaster."
