The Town of Innisfil is excited to announce that a new park is coming to the Sleeping Lion development, located at 980 Larter Street. Following the Town's Land and Lake Plan, this park will offer an enjoyable, balanced, and practical environment for the local community.

Timeline

Construction began in 2025 and is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

You can view the draft design on Get Involved Innisfil. The park will include a multi-swing play area, naturalized play features, outdoor fitness equipment, and a basketball court, among other features. 

Community Engagement

Community members living in the Sleeping Lion development were able to give feedback on possible park features through a poll and ideation exercise on Get Involved Innisfil during the planning stage.
