Service Disruptions and Road Closures
As part of the Alcona Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements project, the following roads will be closed starting at 6 a.m. on May 4, 2026:
- 9th Line (Kildare Avenue to Tall Tree Lane)
- Buchanan Street (9th Line to Crystal Beach Road)
- Bonsecour Crescent (Goodfellow Avenue to Goodfellow Avenue)
- Goodfellow Avenue (Crystal Beach Road to the dead end)
Local traffic only. The closure is expected to last until the end of June 2026, weather permitting.
Construction includes a new trunk sanitary sewer and improved drainage within the project area. Construction began in July 2025, pausing for the winter season.
