Innisfil, ON – As Innisfil residents and property owners prepare to vote in the 2026 municipal and school board election, the Town has launched a new online Candidate Showcase to help voters get familiar with the candidates running for office.

Available at innisfil.ca/election, the Candidate Showcase includes each certified candidate’s name and, where submitted, a brief biography, headshot and contact information such as their phone number, email address, campaign website, and social media accounts. Each candidate was provided with equal opportunity to take part in the showcase.

Voting in Innisfil’s upcoming municipal election will take place online or by phone. Voter information letters containing individual voting PINs and voting instructions will be mailed to eligible voters in October. A voting PIN is required to access the system and cast a vote.

Voting begins October 16, 2026 at 10 a.m. and closes October 26, 2026 at 8 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to confirm or update their voter information before October 24, 2026 at 3 p.m. using the Town’s online voter information tool. Voters can also add or update their information by visiting Town Hall during regular operating hours or an Election Service Centre during the voting period.
