Innisfil, ON – The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced the Town of Innisfil has received $7,098,182 as part of their annual commitment to host communities, which includes Gateway Casinos Innisfil. Money received through OLG is part of a Municipality Contribution Agreement that goes toward improving Innisfil’s economic and social development, infrastructure, and more.
Since the casino opened in 2001, the Town has received funds on an ongoing basis supporting local priorities. In 2026, a portion of these funds went to support new and improved amenities at Innisfil Beach Park.
"OLG truly values being a long-standing partner in the Town of Innisfil and communities across Ontario,” says Kathleen Devine, OLG’s Senior Municipal Relations Manager. "Every dollar of OLG’s profit is returned to Ontario to support the things people care about most, like critical infrastructure, local initiatives, grant programs and community events. Those dollars are making a difference here in Innisfil. The impact wouldn’t be possible without the great team at Gateway Casinos Innisfil, whose work supports both the local economy and community well-being. When you play at an Ontario casino, you play for Ontario.”
The Phase 1 design-build contract for Innisfil Beach Park included $12.3 million in upgrades to the most popular beach in Innisfil, including:
- Electrical, mechanical, structural/bridge and landscape architecture
- Upgrades to water, sanitary, storm and electrical works
- New pedestrian and beach pathways
- Beach expansion works
- Park furnishings and plantings
- One new vehicle bridge and two new pedestrian bridges
- A beach volleyball court
- Space for pop-up shops
- A toddler playground
- A new washroom facility
- Tennis and pickleball courts
“This funding has made a meaningful difference in supporting the exciting work happening at Innisfil Beach Park,” says Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin. “OLG’s ongoing investment in the communities that host its facilities reflects its commitment to giving back. These contributions directly benefit our residents and help enhance our public spaces. On behalf of the Town and all those who enjoy Innisfil Beach Park, I extend our sincere gratitude for OLG’s continued support.”
In 2025 and 2026, over $10 million in OLG funds has been directed to more than 45 projects in Innisfil ranging from road improvements, streetlight programs, and the Innisfil Heights Master Drainage project.
