Innisfil, ON – The Town of Innisfil is inviting community members to come together, get outside, and help make a visible difference during Pitch-In Day on Saturday, May 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. This annual town-wide cleanup encourages participants to collect litter from road edges, parks, public trails, and shoreline areas across Innisfil.
“Pitch-In Day reflects the strong sense of care and community spirit we have in Innisfil,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “When residents come together like this, it not only helps clean our environment, but also builds pride in the town we call home. We’re grateful to the volunteers, schools, local organizations, and businesses who continue to support and take part in this initiative each year.”
Participants are asked to register online in advance to help the Town determine the level of participation and plan accordingly. Cleanup kits, which include garbage bags, gloves and safety information, are now available for pick up at:
- Innisfil Town Hall (2101 Innisfil Beach Road)
- Innisfil ideaLAB & Library – Cookstown Branch (20 Church Street)
- Innisfil ideaLAB & Library – Lakeshore Branch (967 Innisfil Beach Road)

Following the cleanup, volunteers are invited to an appreciation barbecue at Centennial Park (2870 7th Line) from 12 to 1:30 p.m. The event will feature free refreshments, lawn games, library activities, music, face painting, prize draws, and information booths hosted by local environmental groups.
