Town of Innisfil Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, starting at 7 p.m. There are no meetings in July, and one meeting in the months of August and December on the second Wednesday.
Council may also hold Special Meetings at the call of the Mayor or Town Clerk, which incorporate agenda items on Closed Sessions and public meetings for planning applications. The Town will provide notice with details when Special Meetings occur.

Closed Meetings
Municipal councils, local boards and their committees generally hold public meetings. However, sometimes there is a need to hold closed meetings to receive certain information or give direction.
Municipal governments in Ontario must be transparent and accountable. The provincial government has set rules for a council, local board or committee to enter a closed meeting. You can learn more by reading our Corporate Policy on Closed Meeting Investigations.
