Waste Management
The County of Simcoe provides Waste Management services for the Town of Innisfil. This includes pick-up for garbage, recycling, compost (green bin), leaf and yard waste and bulky and metal item pick-ups. Innisfil residents may also use the County of Simcoe Landfill Sites and Transfer stations, the closest of which is in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Blue boxes and green bins may be obtained from the Innisfil Town Hall at 2101 Innisfil Beach Road or the County office in Midhurst. Please see link to County for Waste Management calendar and other Waste Management services information.
Electronic Waste (E-Waste) can be dropped off at three locations in Innisfil that are operated by Electronic Recycling Solutions:
Stroud Arena - South Parking Lot , 7883 Yonge Street
Innisfil Recreational Complex - North Parking Lot, 7315 Yonge Street
Cookstown Library- Parking Lot, 20 Church Street, Cookstown
Thor College, located at 4073 4th Line in Innisfil, also has an E-Waste fundraising program. Details can be found on their website
