Celebrate Lake Simcoe

Celebrate Lake Simcoe is a community festival that is dedicated to environmental educations and awareness of Lake Simcoe. The theme for 2014 is "Looking to the past and connect to the future" with displays and activities about the history of the Lake and our community.

Celebrate Lake Simcoe is an annual event and a member of the SPLASH family of events in the Lake Simcoe watershed.   It works to help people understand and want to aid the lake.  We do this through experiential learning, entertainment and an historical perspective.   This year we celebrate the roaring 20s with a madcap day of fun for the whole family.

Swimmers of all ages are invited to participate.  There are two levels of the swim 5km and 1km.  Swimmers are asked to register online at where additional information about the swim is available including registration form, pledge form and waiver.

All donations will go to help Ladies of the Lake Conservation Association create a new website containing the best Lake Simcoe experiences so that thousands of people will learn to love the lake.

Everyone is invited!  Bring your family and friends and cheer on your swimmers!
