Emergency Planning

It is everyone's role to be prepared for an emergency. The more work done now to prepare for an emergency the better prepared the Town of Innisfil will be to respond to any type of disaster. This website will provide you with information regarding the Town of Innisfil Emergency Management Program including information on the Emergency Plan and personal preparedness initiatives to assist you prior, during, and after an emergency.

Innisfil’s Community Emergency Management Coordinator, Deputy Fire Chief Jim Ferry, is available to meet with groups and individuals interested in discussing what they may do to prepare today for a safer tomorrow. Please feel free to contact Deputy Fire Chief Jim Ferry at 436-2763, Monday to Friday, for further details.

Working with the Town's Community Emergency Management Coordinator, the Emergency Management Program Committee oversees the Emergency Response Plan. In conjunction with Emergency Management Ontario, the Emergency Management Program Committee works to ensure that the Town's Emergency Response Plan meets the provincial standards for prevention, preparation, response and recovery from a major emergency in the municipality.
