Road Information

Load Restriction

The Town of Innisfil hereby advises that Half Load Restrictions, as per the Town of Innisfil By-law 017-01, as authorized by the Highway Traffic Act, will be in effect on all Town roads from March 1, 2010 to May 1, 2010.
The restriction is that no axle of any commercial vehicle shall transmit to the highway, a weight in excess of 5000 kilograms.

Snow Clearing Information

The snow clearing at the end of residential driveways is the responsibility of the homeowner. The Town of Innisfil does not have the staff nor the equipment to provide this service, nor is it the Level of Service set by the Corporation. Piling the snow to the right side (your right side when standing in the driveway facing the street) of your driveway can aid in reducing the amount of snow pushed back into your driveway. Please remember when you are clearing your driveway not to throw the snow on to Town of Innisfil streets or sidewalks. Not only does this cause unsafe driving and walking conditions, this action also contravenes municipal regulations.

Winter Parking Information

OVERNIGHT PARKING RESTRICTIONS SECTION 11 OF BYLAW NO. 043-05

Residents are reminded that parking of a vehicle is prohibited on any street in the Town of Innisfil between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from November 1 to May 1.

Any vehicle found parked in contravention of Bylaw No. 043-05 (Section 11) may be ticketed and/or towed.

Keeping the streets clear of vehicles during these hours helps Town staff maintain your roadways.
